The correct title for this should be “close up”, but the pdf list with the challenges reads “zoom” since January, so I kept it.
To make a long story short… here’s my photo: a close-up of a Brezel
You know what a Brezel is?
Ok, I should have written Prezel, but I like its German name… Anyway, it’s a “type of baked bread product made from dough most commonly shaped into a twisted knot. In the late 18th century, southern German and Swiss German immigrants introduced the pretzel to North America. The immigrants became known as the Pennsylvania Dutch, and in time, many handmade pretzel bakeries populated the central Pennsylvania countryside, and the pretzel’s popularity spread. In the 20th century, soft pretzels became popular in other regions of the United States. Cities like Philadelphia, Chicago, and New York became renowned for their soft pretzels” (from Wikipedia)
On with the project and let’s finish it by December 31st! 😀
A good day to you all,
